Utilização da teoria das restrições no ambiente de manufatura em empresas no Brasil

Resumo

The Theory of Constraints appeared at the beginning of the eighties revolutionizing the manufacturing theory. The theory of constraints has experienced a big development in different countries like USA, UK, Holland and Israel among others. In Brazil, the diffusion of this methodology, initially conceived for the manufacturing environment, is not sufficiently developed. Considering the results people believe possible to obtain from its application, it is objective of this research to detect Organizations which have implemented the Drum-Buffer-Rope system in our country, to verify which are the advantages people can get from its use and show them in the final report, having in mind to diffuse a methodology which people believe to be easy to apply in Brazilian companies, making it possible to improve the competitiveness of our products.
