Projeto de acessibilidade informacional (PAI)

Resumo

Information is a good, an intangible asset, with value, function and meaning linked to the context in which it is inserted and how it was made available to the user and when dealing with information on public websites, some characteristics and adjustments must be respected, to ensure that the information is accessible to everyone independently. The accessibility of the websites of 103 Brazilian Federal Higher Education Institutions (IFEs) were analyzed monthly for 12 months, in which the information is characterized as an asset under depreciation due to inadequacy with the parameters of the Electronic Government Accessibility Model (eMAG). institutional accessibility actions were also mapped via websites, demonstrating the magnitude of the institutional accessibility culture. Although Brazilian legislation establishes the minimum parameters, the panorama of accessibility information levels does not reach the high level, established by the Site Accessibility Evaluator and Simulator (ASES). Therefore, the Information Accessibility Project (PAI) proposes actions of improving this panorama, going beyond the adequacy of the source code, it equips the body and introduces debate and active participation of the community, encouraging a culture of information accessibility, and finally, envisioning a future application of the theory.
