Meios de comunicação de massa e aparato policiala ação da mídia em questões de segurança pública

Resumo

This research was conceived with the intention of raising and compiling information, of the conceptual point of view, for the recital of the criticism to the influence and the interference of the mass media in the subjects of public security, a real, but not problematized thematic pair. The related aspects to the description of the police institution and its permanent structure in differentiated contexts are approached, as well as the need for an adapted model to the democratic system, the Rule of law. Referring questions to the vision of the medias as economic and politic agents, to the freedom of the press, the responsibilities of the media and the ethics in the communication are focused. It is evidenced, in the research, that the conjunction of the subjects 'mass media and police apparatus' it lacks of systemized treatment, in the literary, academic way. One searches, therefore, to bring it the quarrel, considering the power acquired for the media in the last times and its penetration in the social dynamics even the police apparatus. Besides, it evidences the resultant of this relation for the treatment of subjects on public security, relegated to the commercial plan of the news and treated under the optics to merchandise with generating potential of high indices of hearing.
