Livros: a maldição das ditaduras

Resumo

The present work aims to analyse the bibliographic censorship during the Brazilian Military Dictatorship, from the prespective that conversely to the official censorship it was also possible to identify unofficial practices. For this purpose, it was made a bibliographic review about censorship from 1964 to 1985. The initial step of the research was the investigation of official and unofficial censorship concepts and it’s executed methods. This research focus on confiscated books, an unofficial practice identified since Military Dictatorship’s first years. The seizure of books will be studied using apprehension documents that lists book’s tittles. Based on those confiscated books our goal is to develop a confiscated books profile and in this way undertstand it’s policy.
