Intuition and training and development programs

Resumo

In the process of formation and development of administrators, we can see that, if on one hand is accepted the idea that it is a fallacious thing to focus the world around us with lenses fashioned in the reductionism and limitations of linear causality, characteristic ofthe mechanicist vision, on the other we may only count on a formation that has a1ways privileged the compartmentalization and fragmentation of knowledge. Therefore, an impasse arises and, for its overcoming it is every day more visible the necessity of recuperating those forgotten dimensions of the human being such as the affective, the intuitive and the spiritual ones. In centering on the intuitive dimension, this article envisagens the rescuing of its meaning and possibility of development. The established premisewas the degree in which programs of training and development may be pertinent as a space for such development To probe into this, 323 professional persons belonging to enterprises in theareas of service, trade and industry have been contacted, besides a number of interviews effected in six big-sized enterprises located in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
