Resumo
This work analyzes the Encontrolazo as an urban queer experience, within the framework of the 34th ENM held in La Plata, Buenos Aires during 2019, it also investigates the material and symbolic urban traces that are produced in the public space, which constitute a contribution meaningful to make visible struggles, rethink feminisms and sexual dissidents. The theoretical approach is enunciated from the queer theory and the feminisms of the global North and Latin America. At a methodological level, a case study is carried out with analysis of secondary sources, bibliographic material, routes and registration of urban footprints. As a result, the identification of the Encontrolazo stands out as a new experience of socialization, opening of voices and glances, of complaints and resistance in the city; the politicization of public space, and the absence of urban public policies, which is expressed in the conformation of the Queer Urban Circuit as an alternative and resistance space.
