Elementos de viabilidade na bovinocultura de cortemétricas no semi confinamento e confinamento de animais F1 Angus

Resumo

The rural producer of bovine animal protein, in the supply of its production, does not have sufficient scale or minimum marketing organization to define and/or influence improved prices in relation to the price offered in the agro-industrial market by the buyer who is increasingly concentrated. Inserted in a market in perfect competition, the homogeneous product adds characteristic that leads the rural producer to experience profitability margin to zero. Furthermore, the traditional producer's production practices are permeated by elements that combat the competitiveness of its activity and its long-term viability, since the market has repositioned itself with new criteria of admissibility of rural production. On the other hand, the product offered by the producer finds at the end of the economic value chain exponentially higher than the remuneration achieved by the rural producer. The measure that protein transfer occurs in the production-agro-industry-consumption chain, there is greater selectivity and greater remuneration to the product. The purpose of this work was to evaluate elements that add feasibility characteristics to livestock production activity in a way that captures value within the productionprocessing-consumption chain of animal protein. Through the case study performed it was verified that the genetic load of the herd; the development of integrated activities in land occupation; shortening the production cycle; the animal nutrition system and, finally, the marketing structure are driving elements of the viability of livestock production.
