Resumo
The present paper describes an exploratory study of personality characteristics and learning preferences among universitary students of the four courses of health Area, Medicine, Odontology, Nursing and Nutrition. Two measurerement instruments were used in order to make possible this study: the Personality Scales of Comrey and the Inventory of Learning Preferences. The treatment of data obtained was developed through statistics, frequency distribution, correlation and regression analysis. The results obtained through the statistical treat ment didn’t aIIow us to meet any objective conclusion of relations between the personality variables and learning preferences, but certainly they will provide us with many data that may be of great value for future studies.
