Bases de dados em saúde sobre violência sexualpotencialidades, limites e caminhos para sua melhor utilização

Resumo

This technical note examines health databases on sexual violence, focusing on the SINAN Notification Form, the Viva Inquérito survey, and the Multiprofessional Care Form for People in Situations of Sexual Violence. It analyzes the advances and limitations of these instruments, highlighting the modifications introduced to the SINAN form in 2015, which expanded variables related to vulnerable populations and structural factors of violence but reduced the recording of clinically relevant information for epidemiological analyses. It also underscores the potential of the Viva Inquérito and the Multiprofessional Form, while pointing out barriers to accessing these data. Finally, it recommends and provides guidelines for the development of a methodological guide to systematize the use of these sources, reinforcing their integration as a fundamental strategy for research and public policies to address sexual violence.
