As mudanças percebidas na gestão de riscos e resiliência da área de compras pós-pandemia da COVID-19

Resumo

Risk management has become a priority for companies with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this sense, this research aims to analyze the change that this event generated in the perception of risk management and resilience in the Purchasing area. The research was carried out through a survey with Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (SCM) professionals and obtained 110 valid responses. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and ANOVA analysis. The results suggest that Purchasing and SCM professionals perceive that the pandemic has increased the perception regarding risk management on the part of professionals working in the purchasing area, but there is no difference in perception between multinational and national companies. Regarding resilience, the results suggest that there was an increase in the perception of resilience with the COVID-19 pandemic. This research suggested a risk and resilience management model, per material, so that the buyer can identify, evaluate, create mitigation and control plans, and finally communicate to stakeholders.
