Resumo
The present work analyzes the concept of Circular Economy according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, its academic production on the subject, its relevant legal instruments and what is Brazil's adherence to the organization's guidelines and for the transition to a Circular Economy model as well. The conclusion is that the theme has still been little explored, but it has a vigorous academic production that has accelerated over the past few years. Brazil, on the other hand, is making gradual advances, but has not adhered to OECD normative instruments and seems to develop its work in parallel with the organization and not together.
