Resumo
this dissertation discusses lhe future of Non govermental Organizations in Brazil. Considering both the brazlllan social politcal matrix and the nowadays civillization crisis. We think the NGO's might play a significant role for the mobilization e democratization of the Brazilian civil society towards the rebuilding of a social political matix, being capable of redeeming the people to nationality. sovereignty and social economical justice. lhe analysis takes into account the challenges inherent to the complex State I Society relations in Brazil, specifically due to the weakness of both the political imstitutional arrangement and the capacitv of organization and democratization of the brazilian civil society. It also considers the imperatives from the 'New world order'. and aims to drawing some scenarios concerning NGO’s necessary organizational and institutional changes for their main social political geals to be. Therefore, successfully achieved. it focuses on the contradictions from a political and social excluding development model. which have been emphasized not only by the spread of some neoliberalist issues but also by the fragmentation of a kind of minimalist democracy.
