Resumo
This dissertation presents a general image of two municipal public schools from the Mangueira community. The work started from interviews of principals, coordinators, teachers, parents and students, where the oral history methodology was used, based on ethno-methodology studies. The main purpose, in this case study, was to analyze how the actors involved see the school institution, its surroundings, its daily life, and how their memory acts in the community.
