A integração de imigrantes venezuelanos ao mercado de trabalho brasileiro via qualificação profissional

Resumo

In Manaus-AM, the geographical proximity to Venezuela contributes to the fact that there is a large number of Venezuelans who have migrated in search of refuge. Under the effects of the Immigration Law, it is necessary to verify the situation of these subjects in the Manaus labor market, with access to decent work being a human right protected by them, as well as the right to educational qualification and others. From this perspective, the general objective of the research was to analyze how professional qualification influences the integration of Venezuelan immigrants in the Brazilian labor market. The methodologies of literature review, document analysis and semi-structured interviews were used to expose results extracted from other studies, applicable legislation and practical intervention carried out by the author. This is a qualitative, basic, descriptive, and bibliographic research. The results show that there are difficulties in accessing the formal labor market in Manaus by Venezuelan immigrants, even for those who have professional qualifications, which is a reality identified in other regions of the country. It was concluded that there is a need for support programs that seek to promote greater inclusion of these professionals in formal work in the region of Manaus-AM.
