Resumo
This report addresses the gradual process of virtualization and the consequent hybridization of museums and military cultural spaces of the Brazilian Army (EB), especially those located in the area of operation of the Comando Militar do Leste (CML), which covers the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, being analyzed from the perspective of the Covid-19 pandemic as a creative catalyst. These places have been undergoing a gradual and natural transformation that is virtualization, aiming more and more, whether in a virtual, face-to-face or semi-presential way, to insert interactivity and uninterrupted access to knowledge through the use of technological tools. for an even more immersive cultural experience. With the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, access to these cultural spaces became restricted, motivating the Military Organizations (OMs) that maintain them to rethink a new model for maintaining operation and adapting to visits by the general public. The study in question aims to encourage permanent reflection on the role of digital humanities, the past, present and future of military museum spaces, under the veil of the covid-19 pandemic, which, with the application of different technological resources and infinite possibilities of interaction, communication, education and entertainment, provide users with an even greater access to military cultural pluralism, and, on the other hand, having as a counterpoint, consider the eventual impoverishment and emptying of these identity places of our society, which they have in the visit and in the face-to-face interaction with its admirers, its main reason for existence, always aiming at its main premise, which is the valorization and perpetuation of the values and history of our country.
